Corndog Muffins

Corndogs are an American tradition that follow popular pastimes and events such as state and local fairs, food trucks and carts, circus shows and more. We love a battered hot dog on a stick! Our family agrees that our favorite part is that last bite of fried-dough that’s clinging to the stick. Why that’s our favorite, I don’t know!

📌AFFILIATES: As an affiliate for companies, HERITAGE WAYS earns a small commission by recommending these products. There is no additional cost to you to purchase. I hold integrity to a high standard and treat folks the way that I want to be treated. I never suggest products that we do not value and use ourselves.

This recipe recreates everything about a corndog except the stick and that beloved last bit of crispy crust. But, who wants to pull out a fryer and the hassle of dipping hot dogs when we can have the same flavors in a handheld? With a boxed mix, 4 hot dogs and my favorite dough whisk, these muffins come together quickly. (We like Nathan’s hot dogs but use your favorite.) And, that speed includes the clean-up, as well. When these made in Pennsylvania, USA, pans are used, then clean-up is a breeze.

Enter the Corndog Muffin for snacks, lunch boxes, parties, game nights or any fun occasion. Dip in your favorite condiments. Classics are ketchup and mustard.

Personally, I absolutely love The Mustard Man’s line of products. Our friend, Tim, created this line after his friends urged him to bottle his family’s recipes that he’d been serving them for years. Tim is The Mustard Man and offers a line of several flavors which are all just fine with me! (Mrs. Katie) Check out his line of products HERE. My endorsement is not sponsored but Tim says he wants you to let him know that I sent you.
