Tucked into the rolling hills of Wayne County, Ohio, lies a quaint village called Fredericksburg. A stone’s throw from the local coffee shop and other small village businesses, on Apple Creek Road, lies a thriving manufacturing facility owned and operated by a dedicated and hard-working family. My introduction to and connection with this family has its roots in the love of community and quality, hallmarks of the practices and faith of these fine folks.
I am honored to announce that I am a 2025 Brand Ambassador for Quality Plastics. This is a sponsored post.

Photos in this post are stock photos but carefully chosen by me as they could have been taken right in the area about which I am writing. These very sights are common around our Ohio homestead.
From the Amish to the English
Quality Plastics, LLC, has been serving Plain communities and homemakers nationwide for years. Products useful for off-grid life such as a battery-operated clothing iron, forms for making ice blocks and many more products have been designed, completely manufactured and shipped from the Ohio facility. Those of us who prefer to shop in small retail stores, such as the ones around me which are primarily Amish- and Mennonite-owned, are familiar with the variety of Quality Plastics products. Around 2021, long before I was introduced to the manufacturer, I fell in love with this basket which Quality Plastics names the “Deluxe Basket.” Check out my 2021 YouTube video HERE which professes my excitement over such a sturdy basket. In the years since my finding this product, I have bought several for myself and given as gifts to other homemakers. You have not seen a basket as sturdy as this one! I’ve used it for laundry as well as washing garden vegetables and just toting canned goods from the larder.
Touring the Local Facilities
Last year I was treated to a tour of the Apple Creek Road manufacturing facility. From the complete tour and explanation of the process, I gained a basic understanding of the process of injection molding and the creation of these products which are now offered beyond the Amish and Mennonite communities.
Stand On This!
In addition to the Deluxe Basket and many other products (which are all BPA free), Quality Plastics offers solid stainless steel pans with high-quality lids. Pretty much around the corner from the manufacturing facility, an industrious family completely manufactures these solid stainless steel baking pans before sending them to the QP facility to be topped with the most sturdy lid and gorgeous packaging I have ever seen. One gentleman demonstrated the lid’s rigidity by standing on it! I was thrilled and honored that this sweet family took the time to talk with me and introduce me to all the children as well as demonstrate the manufacturing process. (I treasure community and meeting folks because when all of life is boiled down, it is people and living in community that matters.) The fact that the pans and lids are dishwasher safe, along with high-quality materials and no toxic BPA draw me to these pans even more. They are sturdy and surely to be heirloom pans; no cheap knock-off, toxic, flimsy aluminum here, folks!
I am honored to share with you this Ohio, USA, business which is most likely new to you. What if we chose to keep our hard-earned dollars within our own Nation’s economy? We could be stronger together. Support local, Support quality.
