Week of October 21-27, 2018 Real Meals



BF: cereal, milk, bagels, English muffins, etc, coffee, water

L: (at Rogerses’ home) Laurie cooked homemade meatballs, sauce, pasta; garlic bread; we provided tossed salad with homemade dressing

S: leftovers in camper and at friends’ home



BF: eggs and toast; coffee

L: not much

S: dinner at friends’…grilled steak, baked potatoes, broccoli we provided


BF: oatmeal; coffee

L: Mom treated to lunch out with friend and her oldest daughter, Mexican Restaurant; Dad and kids, leftovers

S: dinner at Good Samaritan Ministries fellowship hall in Richmond, VA


BF: cereal, milk

L: Joe’s Inn in Richmond, VA

S: salad in camper



BF: cereal for kids and Dad; nothing for Mom

L: Mexican Restaurant while traveling

S: Hummus and chips for Dad; scrambled eggs for kids and Mom


BF: Fruit smoothies with coconut water and superfood

L: Pan-fried Spaghetti with inspiration from Vickie’s Country Home on YouTube (added 3 leftover all-beef wieners and frozen peas)

Supper: various leftovers from fridge and pantry


Brunch: Overnight Blueberry Pancakes (made by Mom), uncured bacon, maple syrup, coffee

Supper: McDonald’s while at laundromat
