Winter Menu Ideas 2

These are actual menus from our house in the winters of 2001-2002.

  • pinto beans, hash brown casserole, green beans, milk
  • sausage spaghetti pie, broccoli spears, rolls
  • pork loin, leftover hash brown casserole, roasted Brussels sprouts
  • stir-fry with leftover pork, fresh broccoli, water chestnuts, other vegetables; rice; peanut butter icebox dessert
  • pizza hoagies, salad, potato chips, leftover dessert
  • pizza
  • meatballs, Amish noodles, green vegetable
  • vegetable soup, leftover pizza
  • PJ’s Chicken casserole
  • Tuna Helper (boxed), green beans
  • meat from freezer, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas
  • pork roast, green beans with ham, boiled potatoes with butter, baked winter squash
  • pinto beans, rice with can of mushroom soup added, slaw, leftover green beans
  • enchilada casserole, slaw, broccoli casserole (with leftover rice and broccoli)
  • spaghetti sauce and noodles, canned fruit with cottage cheese, green peas
  • layered spaghetti (use leftover) with cottage cheese and cheese, no-tossed salad, garlic toast
  • hard & soft tacos-refried beans, taco sauce, lettuce, cheese, meat, white rice with added salsa
  • pot roast with carrots, mashed potatoes, peas
  • meatloaf, macaroni and tomatoes, green bean casserole, slaw
  • French toast, sausage
  • hamburgers, buns, fries, cole slaw
  • hamburger casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls
