Red Velvet Pecan Bars

Ingredients
  

First Layer

  • 1 box Red Velvet cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil melted

Second Layer

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (also called Eagle Brand milk) 14-oz
  • 1 egg
  • dash of vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions
 

First Layer

  • Mix well and press into 9 x 13 pan. (Tip: I melted the oil in the pan in the oven as it was preheating.)

Second Layer

  • Mix with hand mixer thoroughly, then add 1 cup chopped pecans.
  • Pour milk mixture over cake crust and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
