Creole Slaw
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 2 c. white cabbage shredded
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 2 c. red cabbage shredded
- ½ c. Creole or whole grain mustard
- 2 c. turnip greens trimmed, washed, shredded
- 1 t. salt
- 1 c. red onion thinly sliced
- ¼ t. fresh ground black pepper
- ½ c. green onions sliced
- ¼ t. cayenne pepper
- ½ c. fresh parsley washed, chopped
- 2 t. sugar
Instructions
- Combine all vegetables in large bowl.
- Combine remaining ingredients in small mixing bowl then add to vegetables. Stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
