Grape Salad
Grape Salad is a sweet and savory salad that is unique but quite popular with all crowds who have tried it. This recipe was shared with me by my sister-in-law, Jaime. It uses either (or both) green or red grapes. Just make sure to pick up the seedless variety for this salad as you won’t be cutting or seeding, just washing and mixing.
This is certainly an easy peasy salad and one that can be made ahead. Enjoy it for Easter Dinner or Christmastime….anytime of year is the right time for this salad since grapes are pretty much found in the grocery stores year round. They are in the United States, at least.
Feel free to adjust the brown sugar amounts to taste or dietary preference. I use less sugar than Jaime’s recipe calls for but I do make sure to use some as a topping with the pecans. That’s my favorite part!

Grape Salad
Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 8 oz. sour cream
- ¼ cup brown sugar*
- 1 t. vanilla I use homemade.
- 2 T. brown sugar
- Chopped pecans optional
Instructions
- Combine cream cheese, sour cream, brown sugar, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Add washed and slightly dried red or green grapes to the creamed mixture. The amount of grapes will be determined by you. Make notes to remember what works best.
- Put the mixture in a glass serving bowl or dish and top with the brown sugar and chopped pecans.
Notes
*Jaime’s recipe calls for more sugar but I think using only ¼ cup works well.
