Cuisine American

Ingredients

  • 2 cups powdered milk
  • ¾ cup cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp dehydrated (dried) celery pieces (not powdered)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • ½ tsp parsley
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (I use Redmond's Real Salt)

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients and store in glass jar with airtight lid for about 3 months in a dark pantry or a year in the freezer. Be sure to label the jar so you don't wonder what is inside.
Shake dry mixture well before using. In saucepan, add ⅓ cup of mix to 1 ¼ cups of water. Whisk well and turn heat to medium, whisking constantly, bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
