Potato Lover’s Dish
This was a creation one evening for supper.
Equipment
- 1 9x13 casserole dish
Ingredients
- 5 lbs. potatoes peeled, boiled, drained
- 8 oz sour cream
- ½ c. melted butter
- 2 ½ c. cheddar cheese shredded
- a little cream or milk to thin the mixture a bit less than ¼ c.
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add ingredients to potatoes. Pour into a 9 x 13 greased dish/pan.
- Bake at 350° for 20-30 minutes.
- Add additional cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, dried chives to garnish, as desired.
Notes
This may be assembled ahead of mealtime and refrigerated. If it has been
refrigerated, allow time for the dish to warm a bit to room temperature before baking. I have made this in the slow cooker on camping trips. Very good!
