All in, All done??…..SOLD!!

THAT is when the tears came. I was surprised by them, actually.

Until this point in our story, our lives, I was OK with the idea of selling our ample, beloved home and setting out across the nation to serve and encourage. Casseroles and Tacos

Have you ever had a crazy idea that turned out to be such a blessing? That’s what has happened this month to a friend of ours and me (Katie). We have launched a project which has actually proven to be a blessing in each of our personal lives.

That friend is Andrea from Our Supper Stories.  I was nearly in tears when I first read her blog a few months ago. The similarities between our stories are so incredibly striking, as well as our purpose, passion and desire to listen and share stories.

Andrea and I began communicating. A lot. When we first met on Instagram , we had so very much to catch-up on as we seemed destined to be friends. Put Up or Shut Up

It’s true. The time has come for Mr. Patient and me to put our money where our mouths are. For the love of Pete, put up or shut up.

Maybe I need to backtrack a bit for our new friends. Well, as you read in post: “Loss and Gain”  we had a revelation, if you will, in June of 2017. You might wish to read that post as a prelude to this one.

You see, when Mr. Patient lost his job of 18 years to an overseas buy-out in 2009 our family of five went through quite an interesting season of unemployment, under-employment and self-employment.
